The next time you get the "run or save to disc" pop up window, use the browse button and point to where you want the file to download to. Windows should remember the new location from then on. unfortunately, it doesn't remember. it's always c:\my files (or c:\eigene dateien in my case). hanS geRRiTT.

To change the default "file download" folder for Internet Explorer. Navigate down to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer In the right side Window, you will see a Value called "Download Directory" Double Click this value and change the path to the folder you wish to use. select OK.
